About the Role
Nexilis Finance is seeking a Market Research Intern to support our industry coverage and market intelligence initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills and a passion for understanding industry dynamics and market trends.
You'll contribute to research that directly informs client engagements and business development efforts, working across multiple sectors and transaction types.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth industry research and competitive landscape analyses
- Monitor M&A activity, capital markets trends, and sector developments
- Prepare industry overviews and market sizing analyses for client presentations
- Build and maintain databases of potential acquirers, investors, and comparable companies
- Assist with preparation of thought leadership content and market commentary
- Support deal teams with company and industry due diligence
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with financial databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, PitchBook) is a plus
- Excellent written communication skills
