About the Role
Nexilis Finance is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Investment Banking Analyst Interns. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in M&A advisory and capital raising at a boutique investment bank where you'll work directly with senior professionals on live transactions.
As an intern, you'll be an integral part of deal teams, contributing to all aspects of transaction execution while developing the technical skills and business acumen essential for a successful career in investment banking.
Responsibilities
- Support senior bankers on active M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements
- Build detailed financial models including DCF, LBO, merger models, and comparable company analyses
- Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to support client presentations
- Prepare marketing materials including pitch books, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations
- Perform due diligence analysis and assist in data room management
- Participate in client meetings and calls alongside senior team members
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Strong academic record with demonstrated excellence in quantitative coursework
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
